The Royal Academy of Engineering is Britain’s national academy for engineering, bringing together the country's most eminent engineers from all disciplines to promote excellence in the science, art and practice of engineering.
The Academy’s work programmes fit in the following three strategic priority areas.

Recognising excellence and inspiring the next generation
The Academy is committed to and celebrates engineering excellence through a number of initiatives aiming to develop excellence and to inspire the next generation of engineers. Leading debate
Using the leadership and expertise of its fellowship, The Academy engages in the process of engineering-related, national and international policy development by formulating policy statements and submitting expert responses to parliamentary and Government bodies.
