Dayton Power & Light seeks proposals for coal supply in US

The Dayton Power & Light Co has issued a Request for Proposals for coal to power its two Ohio River power stations in Aberdeen and Wrightsville communities in the US state of Ohio.

The company is seeking proposals for coal delivery for quantities up to 500,000 tonnes, with delivery beginning April 2012 until September 2012.

Proposals with alternative quantities will be considered, and the company said it is interested in offers for all types of coal.

Dayton Power and Light is the principal subsidiary of regional energy company DPL.
